Curt Hitch Recommendation for a 2001 Chevy Camaro
Updated 08/16/2012 | Published 08/15/2012 >
Question:
Will this fit my 2001 Camaro? It does have two tail pipes. It is 6 cylinder NON rs Camaro. If not which item will? I would prefer bolt on. I want to tow some DJ gear in an enclosed trailer. Thank you!

The Curt Trailer Hitch # 11117 that you referenced should work well on your 2001 Chevy Camaro. Having dual exhaust will not cause a problem is this hitch is confirmed to fit other F-bodies like yours that come standard with dual exhaust.
You will need to be sure you do not exceed the towing capacities of your vehicle and this hitch with your trailer. Your owners manual will have the towing capacities listed for your vehicle.
When determining the overall towing capacity of a setup you must always go with the lowest rated component as the overall capacity.
Check out the installation instructions I attached for this hitch also.
This hitch comes with a ball mount and a pin and clip. You may also be interested in purchasing hitch balls # 19256 # 19258.
