Question:

I live in Germany but I have a US Spec BMW X1. I am looking for a hidden hitch like Item # SH77VR that fits my vehicle, is hidden, and does not require cutting into my bumper trim. Additionally, the Thule platform bike rack Im going to use with it has EU wiring connections. So, what do I need to purchase from you to make all of that happen? Lastly, I have an APO AE mailing address. Thank you.

We do ship to APO addresses Internationally. For your 2020 BMW X1, the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH77VR is an excellent option. It will work well for your bike rack. If you will be towing at anytime, the receiver is not rated for that use, so you wound need to add the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - 2" Ball # 391CONVC5. If you want the complete kit use # SH55VR.

For your Thule lighted bike carrier, you will need to obtain the wiring locally as we don't have the European parts. I can help you with conversion if you get the US 4 way in the kit as you will need to modify functions for compatibility with the European wiring using the Curt 2-To-3-Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 to separate brake light from the turn signals.
