Air Helper Spring Suspension For 2020 Ram 1500

Question:
I have a 2020 Ram 1500 4x4 and plan on pulling a 26foot Toy-hauler trailer with a GVW of 9,900 lb. Which system would be better for my application, the Coil to Air suspension F-2595 or something like the Ride Rite Helper Springs F-2550?

Expert Reply:
Because the 2020 Ram 1500 uses a coil spring suspension, there isn't a Ride-Rite system available for the 1500 series. For an air adjustable suspension, you'd want to use the Firestone # F2595 coil to air spring conversion kit you'd looked at. The kit adds 3000 lbs of support to level the front and rear ride height of your truck.
The # F2550 you'd referred is a fit for a leaf spring suspended Ford F-Series truck, and therefore wouldn't work on your Ram 1500.
I've linked you to the install video as well as a product demonstration video.
