How do I know? I think you just sold me the wrong front mount receiver.

The Curt front hitch part # 31038 that you referenced is the correct hitch for your 2003 Ford F-150. This does fit the previous generation F-150 that started in 1999. The picture of your truck is zoomed in pretty far so I am not able to tell for sure if you maybe are looking at the wrong part of your truck frame to install this on but it does recess a bit underneath the vehicle.
