For your Macgregor boat trailer with 3,500 lb axle, you will want the Demco Hydraulic Brake Kit - Free Backing - Galvanized - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # 40716-15. This galvanized assembly will work great for your boat trailer to resist corrosion and the free backing means you don't need a lockout to allow backing up without brakes applying. I can help you with that. I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized # AKHD-545-35-G-K Because it is a boat trailer, the galvanized hubs/drums will be better for resisting corrosion. I've attached a video review to assist.
