Is Wiring for the Tow Pro Elite the Same as Brake Controller Harness for 2015 Toyota Tundra
Updated 05/02/2020 | Published 04/30/2020 >
Question:
I purchased the Tow Pro Elite EBRH-ACCV2 trailer brake controller and the Tekonsha 3031-S wiring harness for a 2015 Toyota Tundra from Etrailer. When I connect the Tekonsha wiring harness to the Redarc control box am I connecting color to color: black to black, white to white, red to red, and blue to blue? Can you confirm this is the correct wiring pattern for a 2015 Toyota Tundra? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Yes. Brake controllers are one of the few times you can completely rely on wire color. The # 3031-S harness that fits your 2015 Toyota Tundra uses the same wire colors as the Redarc Tow Pro Elite, part # RED44FR; black for power, white for ground, red for input from the stop light switch, and blue for output to the trailer brakes.
