Question:
I have a 2015 loadstar trailer with with EOH hydrastar brakes! It already had a HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module installed when i purchased it! I have a 2012 F350 with factory controller and i can not get the brakes to operate at all! What do you suggest as a fix for this? Thanks

The factory trailer brake controllers don't work well with electric over hydraulic actuators even when adapters are used in some cases. Therefore, the only option for some is to go with an aftermarket brake controller. That said, most don't want to replace the factory brake controller just for one trailer which is where the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 comes into play. The Curt Echo plugs into the 7-way and bypasses the factory brake controller without needing to disconnect any wires. It works with electric over hydraulic actuators so it's a great solution.
