Will the Replacement 2" Receiver for Curt Multi-Ball Ball Mount Work With Weight Distribution Shank

Question:

I want only a short 2-3 inch drop, need to match the shank to my weight distribution hitch which has a 5-9 inch , nothing less. How far apart are the holes where the two bolts go into?

In regards to the Replacement 2" Receiver for Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount part # C45802 which is a replacement for the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches part # D900, the two holes are spaced 2-1/2" apart so it will work on a weight distribution shank, you'd just need the Replacement Tri-Ball for Curt Adjustable Ball Mount part # C45800.
