Question:
Looking for a brake controller for my 1999 F150 with factory tow package to tow a 2750 - 3500 lb travel trailer. The F150 has the round plug. Which do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
The brake controller we recommend is the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This controller is a fully proportional brake controller that applies the brakes of your trailer in the exact same speed and strength as your tow vehicle brakes. This style controller is much safer and easier on braking components than a time-delayed controller. For your truck you can use the wiring adapter # 3035-P, for a direct plug in application.
I attached an FAQ article on brake controllers for you to check out also.
