Question:
Hello! Im having trouble locating the correct wires to tap into. The directions state a grey and tan wire, but there are multiple grey and tan wires in harness. Are they thicker than the others? Striped? Any other guidance you can provide? I did find and old question on here but the video link and document were both dead links. Much appreciated!!

It sounds like you are trying to locate the lock and unlock wires to install the Pop and Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL8120Q. The wire should be tan and gray like you mention however Pop and Lock said the wire can sometimes be tan and blue. They are located on the driver's side step panel in the wiring harness that goes under the seat. It should be a bundle of thin wires. I recommend to use the Hook Probe Circuit Tester part # PTW2993 to test the wires while activating the power locks. The test light should light up with the correct wire when the locks are being locked or unlocked.
