Are Four 1,600 lb Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchors T55B Strong Enough for 4,400 lb Car

Question:
I purchased 4 stake pocket tie downs rated at 1600 lbs. I ordered in a hurry as a friend sent me a link to that specific tie down. I am going to haul a 4400 lb car using the tie downs. Will they be strong enough? I plan to cross tie all 4 tires with tire straps. Also the car hauler trailer I am using is aluminum and made for hauling cars however the aluminum post sleeves welded to the trailer do not look as rugged as what you have in your video. Do you have any idea how dispersing the weight to your post tie downs will allow those to be adequate?

I am happy to tell you that four of the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor - Black Powder Coat - 2" D-Ring - 1,600 lbs # T55B that you ordered will indeed be strong enough to handle the 4,400 lb car you are going to haul.
The working load limit (WLL) is 1,600 lbs, and the way WLL works is that the weight of the cargo cannot exceed the combined capacity of the anchors. So you have plenty of room to spare with four of the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor # T55B.
In regards to the last part of your question, dispersing the weight is not a factor in regards to capacity. You do need to ensure that all parts of your trailer have the needed capacity for the cargo you are carrying, as the anchors are simply one part of it.
