Question:
I have two questions - 1 What are the internal and external thread size? 2 Is this adapter required on Dexter 6K hydraulic disk brakes?

The female thread for the Adapter Fitting # 3057089 is 3/8-24 while the male thread is M10-1 (also known as 3/16 inverted flare to M4.76 bubble flare). When I reached out to my contact at Dexter Axle he said that they use this on their 6K - 8K four piston fixed caliper product so if that's what you have then you would need this.
