Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock that Fits 2018 Honda Ridgeline with OEM Tailgate LOCK

Question:
Will the PAL8600 work in conjunction with the manual Honda OE tailgate lock? If so, will the OE manual lock override the PAL8600 if it should fail or the vehicle battery die?

Pop and Lock has a kit designed to work on the versions of the 2018 Honda Ridgeline that have the factory locking tailgate with the part # PL8675. This would be the kit you'd want. If the battery was dead your key would still be able to unlock this. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
