Do holes have to be drilled into the car frame in order to install this hitch?

Expert Reply:
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98902 which is a fit for a 2016 Mazda CX-5 does not require any drilling into the frame. There is also no trimming required for installation so there will be no permanent modifications. The trailer hitch is very easy to install, taking most only 30 to 40 minutes.
If you will be towing then you'll also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56310 which is plug-n-play and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 which has all of the other parts you'll need.
