Question:

Found this vent and would like to know how it may work in the application of a side mount? I have a small tear camper with a rear kitchen galley which house a slide in Dometic Fridge adjacent toright exterior wall. My objective is to get a air flow in there off that wall for the fridge so it doesn’t run as hot. Will this leak on a flat side mounted exterior service in the rain etc? I need a white one that Louvers are closable turnstyle type in white. Thank you !

I do have an option for you but the Mushroom Vent - White part # 37202-29125 is designed to be a roof vent.

I recommend to use 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3" Diameter Hole - Black part # WHMAV2-WAVT2 which is designed to be installed on the side walls of your trailer and has a cover to prevent water from getting in. I have attached a very helpful video for your reference. You will need Zinc Sheet Metal Screw - 8 x 3/4" Indented Hex Washer Head part # 31071 to install it.
