Recommended Class IV Trailer Hitch for 1996 Chevy K1500 That Fits Tight to Bumper

Question:

Hi Im trying to find a class lV trailer receiver for my 96 Chevy k1500 with a 3 inch body lift just trying to find the right hitch that is the closest to the bumper?

I'd recommend the Curt Class IV hitch, part # C14081. When installed, the hitch will sit pretty tightly to the underside of the rear bumper, as would the Draw-Tite # 41901 you looked at, but the Draw-Tite model only fits the long bed model truck.

I've provided a photo of what the Curt # C14081 looks like installed on a 1997 Chevy C/K Series. I've also linked you to an installation video that you might find helpful.
