The trailer hitch options for a 2020 GMC Acadia are the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13293 (see photo one) and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76023 (see photo two). The trailer hitches are both bolt-on options and have sufficient weight capacities that exceed the vehicle so neither will limit or increase your towing capacity. That said, the most notable difference which you can see from the photos below is that the Draw-Tite hitch installs behind the bumper cutout and the Curt hitch installs under the bumper. However, the Draw-Tite hitch requires you to remove the rear bumper to get the hidden look so installation will be more difficult.
The best trailer hitch will be the one that has the features you are looking for, i.e. easy install (Curt) or hidden look (Draw-Tite). I personally prefer the Draw-Tite because you only have to install the hitch one time whereas you will be looking at it everyday.

Will the hitch cover go back on over the draw-tite hitch or does it have to stay off all the time?
