Question:
Hello e-trailer experts, I just removed my black tank flange and found it is connected to my black tank by way of the rubber grommet as described on your website. Mine did not use any hose clamps but instead it had a bead of white sealer between the grommet and the ABS pipe. Do you also sell or recommend what type of sealer to use? How can I safely remove to sticky old stuff, kerosene, WD-40, something oil-based and would that hurt the rubber grommet? My rig is a 2007 Forest River Wildcat 26FBS Thank you for a great store and website!

RV sewer lines are typically attached using a plastic or solvent weld which can't be separated and the only option is to cut off the entire section that has it and replace what's then missing. There won't be a way to separate the white sealant you have now so you'd be best off just cutting it all off.
For ABS solvent then we have the part # A05-0303. I attached a link to a page that has our sewer lines and adapters for more info as well.
