Will the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Work On a Lowered 2006 Ford F-150 2WD

Question:
I have a lowered 2006 Ford F-150 and I installed the Timbren ses kit in the rear. I just installed them and when I’m empty and unloaded the Timbrens sit on the axle and make the ride rough. Any suggestions?

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System is not a good option for a lowered truck such as the 2006 Ford F-150. The reason for this is because as you mentioned the springs will ride on the contact point causing a very rough unloaded ride. That said, I do still have a solution to help with support on a lowered truck in the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-108-47. The SumoSprings unlike the Timbrens can be trimmed so that you have space between the spring and bump stop while unloaded therefore won't have a rough ride quality.
