Question:
I plan on installing the Curt Class I # C11174 on my 2004 BMW 325xi sedan. Is there a wiring harness that you would recommend for this year make and model? Thanks.

Since there isn't a plug and play option for your 2004 BMW 325xi Sedan, the best option and the one I recommend is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. What sets this harness apart from others is that it uses sensors that clamp onto your vehicle's tail light wires to sense the current and transfer it back to the trailer connector. This means you don't have to worry about any potential issues caused by cutting or splicing into your BMW's factory wiring. The built in module also prevents any electrical feedback and uses a hot lead ran directly to the vehicle battery to avoid drawing power or overloading your factory wiring.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11174 is confirmed to fit your 2004 BMW 325xi Sedan; I double checked this for you to be sure. The # C45510 ball mount is specifically designed for use with this hitch, and the one recommended by the manufacturer.
To complete your towing package, you can use # C40018, for a 2 inch ball, or # C40001 for an 1-1/78 ball and # F-4 would be the correct size pin and clip.
