Does the kit come with the Window Release Keys needed to expand the frame clips in order to separate the interior and exterior frames?

Yes it does - the Lippert Thin Shade Complete Window Kit # LC806621 does come with the Window Release Keys (which are part # LC429436), as you can see by the cut out of the manual I added for you.
The Thin Shade Window Kit # LC806621 also comes with the inner frame, outer frame, window glass and shade.

my window has screws holding it in. can I use a thin shade kit to replace it
