The Valterra Deadbolt Lock for RVs # L32CS3008 is designed to fit on doors that are 1-3/8" to 1-3/4", and have at least 2-3/8" from center of face hole to leading edge of door. I suppose as long as the long as the plates that you're trying to fit this on are no thicker than that and you have that much space to install the lock you could make this work. The only issue I can see is that it would bind the two doors together and you'll no longer have a functioning screen door that can be opened and closed independently of the exterior door.
