I am looking to change out my old dometic 20 awning for a Solera awning. It is powered, what do I need?

In order to change out your old Dometic Awning in favor of a Lippert Solera Awning you can use the Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit part # LC434724 for white or part # LC434723 for black. This will then allow you to use the Solera 20' White Fade RV Awning Roller and Fabric part # LCV000211523. The power wires you have ran for you old awning can then be reused cutting install time down dramatically.

The nice thing about the Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit is that not only do they carry tons of replacement parts but it has an auto-rain dump feature so you don't have to worry about water pooling up and creating issues and there is a manual override in case of a power outage. The majority of the mounting holes should be able to be reused.
