The bracket kit you mentioned actually fits newer Jeep Wranglers and Wrangler Unlimited models. The HDX hardware kit that would fit a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss would be the part # 56-53468PK since the step bars that would fit your truck are # 56-5346852.
