Question:
Im trying to find the right size. how do you measure the size of a new seat. domestic toilet 510 plus model # my seat is oval in shape and seems to measure smaller than the ones Ive been looking at. Do you measure the toilet or the seat?

The easy answer is that since we know you have a Dometic 510 toilet the replacement seat part # DOM25FR that you referenced is the correct part number you'd need. When measuring you want to measure from the very front of the seat back to where the bracket of the seat hinge would be.
