For a roof rack on the 2020 Ford Edge for a kayak carrier to carry the Pelican Kayak, I recommend Yakima JetStream bars part # Y00426 which are aerodynamic to cut down on wind noise. They also have t-slots to allow for easy installation of accessories. You will need BaseLine towers part # Y00146 with fit kit part # Y06102 and part # Y06139.

I recommend the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier # TH849000 to carry the Pelican. It has side load assist to make it easier to load the kayak onto the roof of the Edge and comes with the tie downs. It also comes with the hardware to install the carriers into the t-slots of the Yakima cross bars.
