Does the Pop&Lock Still Allow Your Tailgate to Be Manually Unlocked

Question:
Is there a way where we can use both the power lock and manual lock for the 2017 Ridgeline? I want the power lock for my Ridgeline which also comes with a tonneau cover. My concern with the power lock is how will you open the gate if the actuator goes out?

The Pop&Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PL6200 comes with 2 keys included for the tailgate locking mechanism, so you'll never be locked out if for some reason the power lock failed. The Pop&Lock is a great solution to provide a secure storage space on your truck bed when paired with a tonneau cover or camper shell.
I attached a photo that shows the lock that is built into the handle, which will be operated by the included keys.
