Question:
Hi Guys, My truck is 2015 Tacoma asses cab 2.7L axle over leaf spring non pre runner. Does F2410 is the right kit for me and by installing it how will effect the rear shocks. When inflated lets say 20 psi and going over the bump stop is it going to lift the rear end too hi so it will damage the shocks? Also what is the average rear lift with 15 psi when the truck is empty? How much will stiffen the ride if any when empty? I like the factory ride and dont want to compromise it. What is the warranty on the bags? Thank you for your help.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2410 are indeed correct for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma (Non Pre-Runner, Axle Over Leaf Springs). In regards to the rear shock absorbers, there will not be any sort of negative affect on this components. The shock absorbers have a stroke which exceeds the maximum threshold of the suspension travel. For example, if you were to lift the vehicle by the frame the axle would hang and the shocks would extend but there would be no damage as the built-in stoke of the shock exceeds the suspension travel which will be the same for going over a bump with the airbags inflated. Unfortunately, I can't really provide any figures in regards to ride height but from my personal experience you would not have much if any of a lift over stock ride height with only 15 psi. It is only when you reach higher psi ratings such as 70 where you would experience a lift in the ride height which would only be around 1" max.
In regards to ride quality, there will be no affect if the minimum pressure of 5 psi is maintained. The airbags themselves have a lifetime warranty.
