Is it possible to get mounting hardware with a longer strap. I like the quick mount feature b/c its easy to take on and off but it wont fit around my factory cross bar.

There are some options for ski and snowboard carriers that fit around wide crossbars, but there is not a way to fit the Thule SnowPack # TH7326 to wide crossbars as there isn't mounting hardware with a longer strap. If your current carrier won't fit the best option is another carrier, and a great one with a similar easy-to-use mounting system is the Kuat Grip.
The Grip fits around crossbars up to 4-1/4" wide (I strongly recommend measuring your crossbars to ensure they fit this width), and is available in different colors, and there are options for 4 skis / 2 snowboards or 6 skis / 4 snowboards. I have added links to a couple video reviews that show just how easy and effective the Kuat Grip is (not to mention that it's the sleekest looking ski carrier around). The options for this carrier are:
