Question:
I am looking at trailer hitches for my 2020 Subaru Forester and wondering if there was a way to compare the OEM hitch to an aftermarket hitch? I realize you don't sell the Subaru hitch but was wondering if you knew anything about it and can compare the two if at all possible.

That's a really good question because it can be difficult to get a comparison but vehicle manufacturers sell their OEM parts just like aftermarket retailers so I was able to find the Subaru trailer hitch for a 2020 Subaru Forester, and the advantages of going with an aftermarket hitch are pretty extensive.
The most significant difference is the class and receiver size of the OEM hitch compared to the aftermarket hitches. The factory Subaru hitch is a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch. Meanwhile, the two best aftermarket hitches for your Forester, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 76271 and EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7391 are both Class III rated with 2 inch receivers. This means that for accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers, you are severely limited to what you can use because there are simply more - and superior - accessories for a 2 inch trailer hitch, and the Class I rating of the OEM hitch further restrains your options because it requires Class I compatible accessories.
Another important factor is simply the price; aftermarket trailer hitches are going to be far more friendly on your wallet than the option from the factory. You can even get the same factory look if you go with the EcoHitch # 306-X7391, though this is a more difficult install and is the pricier option than the Draw-Tite # 76271, which is why this would be my recommendation for a 2020 Subaru Forester.
I have added a photo showing both hitches installed on a '19 Forester so you can see how the hitch will look on your car, and I have also added a link to an install video of both on a 2020 Forester for you to check out.
If you want wiring Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56040 is a very solid choice. It is designed to plug directly into an already existing port on your Forester located in the rear hatch area.
It gives you a 4-way flat trailer connector for hauling trailers or lighted cargo carriers.
