Question:

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback and it has the roof rack which is the OEM one from the factory. I am looking for a cargo box that is going to fit on the rack but also let me open the rear hatch without it hitting the box. Do you by chance happen to know which cargo boxes will fit on the rack and let me totally open the hatch with no interference? Thanks so much!

There are a number of really high-quality rooftop cargo boxes that fit the factory roof rack on your 2020 Subaru Outback and will allow you to completely open your rear hatch without making contact with the box. According to the always-helpful Yakima, the measurement from the front crossbar to the rear hatch when open is 54 inches, and the following is the list of rooftop cargo boxes which have the clearance you need to avoid your Outback's hatch:
