Question:
Will the Thule Pulse XL be a good fit for my Mazda 5? I was planning to purchase the Mazda 5 factory cross bars from the dealer.

Expert Reply:
The Thule Pulse XL cargo box, # TH615 should fit the optional crossbars for your Mazda 5 as long as the distance between the bars is at least-5/8 inches on center. I recommend installing an aftermarket roof rack because it will be more cost effective.
For your Mazda 5, you can use the economical Thule system consisting of the following parts: # TH712200, # TH460R, and # THKIT3080.
Another option is the much more stylish and quieter WingBar system. It uses the same feet and fit kit only for the bars use # TH711200 for silver or # TH711220 for black.
