The Dometic 972 Series Portable Camping Toilet # DOM34FR that you referenced features a 9.8 liter waste holding tank and an extra long discharge pipe for easy disposal. It does not use bags or chemicals. The upper/flush water tank has an 8.7 liter capacity, which is enough water for up to 27 flushes.
When it's time to empty the holding tank (it will show "full" on the tank level indicator) you simply pull up on a rear latch to separate the upper tank from the lower tank, and carry the lower tank to an authorized waste disposal area (or standard toilet). Rotate the discharge spout away from the tank and open the vent on the top. To clean Dometic just recommends using a mild cleanser to avoid harming the tank's finish.
I have attached an image from the toilet's instruction manual (which will come included) to further clarify this process.
