Question:

The earsinch or lugs on my rv waste drain are broken off, so I am no longer able to secure the cap to the pipe. Could I use this as a replacement or is there another product that would be better for the repair?

Yes the Valterra Hose Adapter w/ 3" Swivel Lug Fitting part # F02-2028VP will be a suitable replacement for your needs so long as your pipe coming out is 3" inside diameter. You will remove the old one clean up the end on the old pipe to ensure it is free of burrs and give it a light sanding. You then can use Valterra ABS Solvent Cement part # A05-0303 to make your connection with your new adapter.
