Determining Fitment of Phoenix USA Baby Moon Hub Cover on Vintage Trailer Wheels

Question:
My wheel has four tabs. Should the measurement be to the outside of two of the tabs? That is 8 7/8. The inner ring is 8 1/2. Will the above cap fit? The wheel is five lug, 14inch about 1969 vintage.

Based on the 8-7/8" outside diameter you mentioned, along with your wheel's 4 spline design, the Phoenix USA Baby Moon Hub Cover # PXQ1401B is going to work perfectly. This will snap right onto your existing wheels to maintain your older trailer's vintage appearance.
