Question:
Do I need to use the polyurithane pads on the bottom of my BW fifth wheel hitch or can I leave them off?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The foot pads for the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3500 should definitely be used to ensure proper contact with the truck bed to provide the necessary support and stability. I do not recommend leaving them off the hitch. If you are having trouble lining up the pads to the particular bed surface on your truck you might find the attached image below helpful.

Can the foot pads be purchased separately, I cant seem to find them. I have a Companion Hitch and they were not included. the last truck I had the Hitch was installed at a RV dealer and the pads were not used due to the use of a bed mat and were not given to me. Unfortunately, I have another tow vehicle and are currently needing the foot pads for this setup. Thanks
