The Replacement Coupler Cap Spring # BD500354 is specific to certain model Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers, however it can indeed be used on a 2-5/16" ball coupler as it's a confirmed fit for the Bulldog Collar-Lok # BD028463. If this is what you have the spring will work perfectly as a replacement.
If you have a different model coupler just let me know and I will be happy to see if we have a better solution available.
