Troubleshooting Car Battery Low Indicator on Blue Ox Patriot Brake System
Published 12/17/2019 >
Question:
I cannot get my battery low indicator light to go off and therefore cannot setup my braking system. Vehicle starts perfectly everytime and even with the engine running I get the same message. What is the issue and/or can be done to make it useful again? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The "Car Battery Low" indicator on the older (discontinued) Blue Ox Patriot Brake System BRK2012 means that you have a poor connection to the vehicle battery or the battery itself is low. If you have your vehicle battery tested and it's in good shape then you need to check the connection from the Patriot to the 12V power outlet and then from that to your battery. If worse comes to worse then you can add in a specific 12V outlet for your Patriot with the kit # RM-9332.
If you are still having issues let me know and I can help you look into this further.
