Can this adapter be used to mount the rhino batwing awning onto a Thule Canyon rooftop basket?

I may have a solution for you, however you won't be able to use the Mounting Kit # RR31103 to attach your Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning like # RR33100 to the Thule Canyon Roof Rack # TH859XT on your vehicle. The rail design on the side of this basket simply isn't compatible with the hardware used in this kit.
Your best option is going to be to slide the Thule basket to one end of your roof and attach the Batwing directly to the crossbars at the other end. As long as your roof rack bars feature integrated top channels and they extend past the feet, the awning can be attached directly to them using the included hardware.
