Where are the Wires Located to Power the Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock on a 2011 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

Ive installed everything up to finding the correctg wiresto tie into behind the kick plate. As there are several connections, harnesses, etc connecting to the door harness, exactly where will I find the blue/black and black /red wires I need to tie into? Are they running from the door and connection to the remainder of the harness or are they after the connection? there are a lot of conenctions right after the door harnees comes into the cab and not a lot of room to manuever. Thanks.

I spoke with my contact at Pop and Lock and was told that you should locate the wiring harness that goes into the drivers side door and attach one wire to the blue wire with red stripe wire and the other wire to the blue with black stripe wire, on your 2011 Toyota Tacoma 2 door model.

There should only be one harness exiting the kick panel area and continuing on into the drivers side door.
