Parts Needed to Connect 100 Lb Tank with POL to On-board 5th Wheel Regulator Pigtail

Question:
Can this be used in conjunction with part 204128-MBS to convert old style 100 lb propane tank to type 1 connection and then use this 15 ft hose to connect directly into the onboard propane pigtail on a 5th wheel. Basically, making a single long pigtail connected to RV regulator to reach external propane tank instead of 12 inch original pigtail. My propane Bay on my 5th wheel does not have enough space to use the sturgi stay system.

You could technically use the Propane Adapter Fitting # 204128-MBS to convert the POL fitting on your 100 lb tank to a Type 1 or ACME fitting, which will allow you to connect the 15 foot Valve Extension Hose # 100914-180-MBS. This would then allow you to connect the male end (with the threads on the outside) of the extension to the green female end of your existing 12 inch pigtail, attached to your regulator. Using two pigtails is not ideal, but if you need the 15 foot extension plus the 12 inches of the existing pigtail, this would be the only way to do it.
That being said, if a 12 foot extension can provide enough length to reach the 100 lb tank, I recommend using the JR Products 12 foot Propane Hose # 37207-30685, which has a POL fitting on one end, to connect directly to your 100 lb tank, and a 1/4 inch MIF fitting on the other end, which can then connect directly to your regulator. This eliminates the need to use the # 204128-MBS adapter, as well as the secondary pigtail.
Keep in mind that use of pile sealant # 37207-30555 or thread tape # 37207-30025 is required on POL fittings.
