Do the Firestone Front Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs for a 1997 Ford F-350 Create Lift

Question:
Hi, Forgot to ask, what is the range of actual lift? I am debating between add a leaf vs this airbag. Im looking for 2-2.5inch for leveling. Will these achieve that? Thanks.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2223 which are a fit for a 1997 Ford F-350 will not lift the vehicle. Instead, the air bags will prevent sag as with all of our suspension enhancements. That said, you would not want to lift the front end of the vehicle without adding additional components as you will increase wear and create alignment issues. If your goal is to level the truck then there are other kits designed specifically for this but air bags or add-a-leaf springs are not the best option. Furthermore, add-a-leaf spring kits will make the front end very stiff which will affect ride quality whereas the air bags are adjustable so they can provide support when needed but won't affect the ride quality while deflated.
The most common instances in which customers would want to install suspension enhancements on the front of the vehicle is if they were using a snow plow, helping position a trailer, or had some sort of front hitch mounted accessory.
