The correct B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Installation Kit for your 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 is the part # BWGNRM1012. For the hitch itself to use with the rails you will use part # BWGNRC912 or for the kit that includes both the correct part is # BWGNRK1012.
I have attached a complete installation video that you can also follow along with.
The B&W Turnoverball Install Kit # BWGNRM1016 that you referenced is designed for newer GM truck models (starting in 2016) and won't line up to the frame rails of your 2012 model Silverado.
