Question:

I need a brake controller for my 2019 Honda. I already have the 7-blade trailer connector at the back bumper, but I'll need a recommendation for a controller as well as the wiring pigtail to install the controller. I'm not very fond of the boxes hanging off the bottom of the dash. What would you recommend?

Although typically folks use a traditional-type brake controller that sits under the dash, I'd recommend going with the Redarc Tow-Pro Classic # 331-EBRHV2. The bulk of this controller installs under the dash where it's out of the way and out of sight. the only needed control is a single dial that can be mounted just about anywhere on the dash or center console.

To install the controller, you'll need the # 3070-S wiring harness which would wire color to color to the controller base unit. The harness would then plug into the connector under the dash. The connector is taped to a wiring harness just to the left of the steering column under the dash.
