Heyo I am setting my 2020 Jeep Cherokee up for flat towing and trying to confirm if that mopar 68321424AB harness is still needed? I know it was needed for earlier models but not sure if it's still a thing? thanks for your help!

The Mopar 68321424AB harness that you referenced is not needed on your 2020 Jeep Cherokee to set it up for flat towing. As you mentioned, this particular harness was needed on earlier model Jeeps to eliminate the "wobble" that would occur when being towed but this has been resolved on your 2020 model so the harness is no longer required.

You might already have everything you need to flat tow your Jeep (base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lighting solution, braking system) but just in case I will list out my specific recommendations below.

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect # RM-521451-5 if you have the Overland or Trailhawk model or # RM-521452-5 if you don't.
Tow Bar - Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain # RM-676 (safety cables are included)
Lighting Solution - Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode Kit # RM-152
Supplemental Braking System - Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494
