I will need a lic plate light for a 2000 Featherlite 48 ft, car hauler. can you tell me if this is the correct one ? Thank you.

In order to determine if this Sealed, Ear Mount Trailer License Plate Light # LP97CB that you referenced would be the correct replacement license plate light you will need to compare the mounting hole dimensions to that of your current setup and see if it would bolt up.
This light has a distance of 2-3/4 inches between the mounting holes. If you find that is the same as your current setup this product should work for you. You might also be interested in purchasing a Two Wire Pigtail 3 # A46PB to make installing the light easier.
