I was able to contact B&W who confirmed on a 2012 Toyota Tundra the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1257 and the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2445 are compatible together. They did mention that was as long as the installation is inside and below the frame specifically.

Included are installation videos for both products.

How can these two items be compatible? The frame attachment bracket for the trailer hitch uses the same hole in the frame that the airbag uses on the low side of the frame. You would need to use the bolt/air valve on top of the airbag to go through the frame and secure the bottom of the attachment bracket for the trailer hitch. Is that how these are compatible? I appreciate any feedback. I am interested in purchasing both of these if you can confirm how they are compatible. Thanks.

@JimmyA hey Jimmy, thanks for reaching out. The Firestone # F2445 is NOT compatible with the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch. Honestly the answer page above is an older page and I am not sure who that person talked to or how they got that information, but it is wrong. The air bags mount in the exact same location as the gooseneck hitch brackets, so there would be no way to install both. Sorry for the confusion and I will go ahead and get the page edited or deleted. That said, if you need to beef up the rear suspension for gooseneck towing, I recommend adding the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-54. These have 2,800 lb capacity and will not interfere with the gooseneck hitch.

@JesseM thanks for the clarification and the recommendation. Sumo Solo looks like a good option for my set up and it's cheaper than the Firestone air bags. I really appreciate this.

@Jimmya Glad to help! The Sumos will be much easier to install too. Feel free to come back anytime you need anything!
