Question:
I hit a curb and the shaft bent on the left rear jack. Motor has no damage. RV dealers say I can only replace the entire assembly including the motor. Is there a way to buy the assembly without the motor?

Expert Reply:
Correct, the leg and motor must both be replaced together as that is the only way it is offered from the manufacturer. That said, you could use your old motor as a spare and we can certainly save you money by avoiding the dealer markup. The correct replacement for you is the Replacement Left Rear Leg for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System part # LC305339. We also have the Replacement Right Rear Leg for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System part # LC344792.
