Can I use a 47inch bar on my 2008 civic 4-door? Thanks.

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she informed me that 47 inch cross bars would be too short on a roof rack on your 2008 Honda Civic. With the Evo Clamp Roof-Rack # TH710501 that you would want to use Thule Aero Load Bars # TH711420. These are 53 inch load bars and would be the size you would want to use.
To complete the roof rack for your 2008 Honda Civic you would also need a Thule Fit Kit # TH145190.
I attached an installation video that shows this rack being installed on a similar Honda Civic as yours.
