I do have a really great option for you, however I checked with Konig and the XG12 model snow chains are not available for your 245/40R18 sized tires.

The closest option available in terms of design and mounting process is the Konig Self-Tensioning CG9 # TH00023102, which like the XG12 uses a unique self-centering self-tensioning system with a simple red hook and loop for a quick installation and a tight fit. The dual-sided D-shape links will provide excellent traction in the snow/ice and they only require 9 mm of clearance so they're great for vehicles like your Mercedes-Benz that don't have a lot of room to work with around the wheel wells.

Two tire chains are included in the set.
